For over 50 years, Speed’s Towing has serving the Greater Portland Metro Area. Our efforts to make a positive difference involve many big and little steps.
The TOW FOR LIFE program is now in it’s 26th year. During the holidays Speed's Towing offers to give anyone a tow to their home in the metro area if they think they may be over the legal alcohol limits. It’s a “no questions asked” way to help keep drivers and their passengers safe during the holiday season. A $15 donation is requested, but is not necessary. All donations received for this service are passed on to Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Over the years, thousand’s of dollars have been contributed to worthy efforts.
Speed’s Towing participates in the Portland Rose Festival by providingd towing service for the floats, as well as street clearing for the parades.
Speed’s Towing provides free towing of donated vehicles to local-area schools for use in their automotive training programs. We have also provided trucks for home-coming parades and events.
We provide flatbed trucks used as stages at many Portland area events such as the “Doggie Dash at Waterfront Park” as a benefit for the Oregon Humane Society.
Additionally, Speed’s employees have participated in many fund-raising events, including building homes for Habitat for Humanity. Our employees have donated hundreds of hours to help make Portland, and it’s surrounding communities, the nicest place to live in the United States! We appreciate all of their individual and teamwork efforts. Our people make the difference!
